It's not necessarily true. It depends on your cucumber variety, a lot of them are parthenocarpic (i.e. seedless), they don't need pollination and can't be pollinated. The cucumber plants can "decide" they have enough fruit already and "choose" to abort some. It is possible you kept too many fruits at the same time. A good rule of thumb is to take out the fruits on the first 5-8 nodes, to give enough time for the plant to form her other organs (leaves and roots) to support the fruits load.

That is all fine and well but what about us guys that have t4wo dead batteries? I was thinking I would take one of then out in the garage and using wires or alligator clips and hook it up to my car 12 volt battery for a minute or so. Is this feasible or am I going to have the lithium battery blow up if I put the juice to the wrong pole? It's a craftsman 13.2 battery with 4 poles to a battery.

This absolutely works. I used a wire from terminal to terminal instead of scissors, but this definitely works.

Raspberries should take no longer than 21 days to germinate after you put them in the fridge for a month. Also if you get fruit from the store always wash it. Growth hormones suppressors are sprayed onto fruits so its needed to be washed before it can grow properly regardless how deep the seeds are. Also using a diluted solution of hydrogen peroxide helps a lot with root rot, mold, and germination rate in general.
